   I have been an avid gym goer for a few years now, and I’ve seen some great results. However, I’ve never quite seen the results I wanted. Having recently decided to take part in a fitness competition in Spring 2013, I knew I needed a big change. My workouts just weren’t going to cut it and get me in the shape I need to be in. That’s how I met Charles. I’d seen him training clients at Bloor Fitness 24-7, and had always been impressed with his patience and positive attitude. So I purchased 12 sessions with him.

Charles listened carefully to all of my goals, including my goal of competing, and tailored all of my workouts to make sure that I not only hit all of my goals, but exceeded them. I’m now using even heavier weights than I was before he starting training me, with much better form. I am able to complete full chin ups, a goal I’ve had for a long time and have never been able to do. He corrected my shoulder imbalance with fascial stretch therapy, improved my flexibility by teaching me to stretch properly, and I look great. I’m seeing muscles I’ve never seen before. All and all, I came out far ahead of where I thought I would be after my sessions with him. Any time anyone comments on my great arms or strong legs, I know exactly who to thank!

I have enjoyed Olympic Weightlifting, Crossfit and other forms of strength training for the last 10 years.  I had always experienced problems with my flexibility, and this has been a major detriment to performance.  My lack of flexibility would cause me to veer off balance in complicated lifts like the overhead squat, and I would lift with imperfect form.  A 9-5 desk job did not help matters, and I watched my flexibility decline from year to year.

I had tried conventional stretching and Yoga, but I could never seem to get any results.  I had heard about fascial stretch therapy and was curious, but not ready to take the plunge. I was lucky enough to have met Charles Lin through booking a general fitness assessment at my gym.  I was very impressed with Charles' knowledge of anatomy, and he pointed out exactly the areas where I needed improvement through a series of tests.  I was ready to try fascial stretch therapy.

I could not believe the results after only one session!  I felt an immediate difference in my squat and deadlift.  Now, after 10 sessions, I am performing my lifts with better technique than I ever have before and have seen considerable gains.  More so, I feel much more limber and can do things now that I could never do like bending over and touching my toes.

I would highly recommend Charles to be your fascial stretch therapist , whether you are not exercising at the moment or you are an Olympic athlete.  You will experience an immediate increase in the quality of your life from Fascial Stretch Therapy with Charles.
